QIGONG BEGINNERS WORKSHOPS
Saturdays 21st & 28th April 11am-1.30pm
In these two sessions Pam Nicklin will be introducing the concepts of Health Qigong and how regular practise can help strengthen the mind and the body.
Health Qigong comes from traditional Chinese culture with thousands of years of history and more recently scientific proof of the health benefits.
Both sessions will include a chance to try Ba Duan Jin or The Eight Treasures set of exercises and a short break for Chinese tea.
Key topics that will be covered include:
The concept of yin and yang
Harmony of body and mind with nature and the external environment
Promotion of the normal functioning of the body and its internal organs
Basic overview of acupuncture points and meridians.
