Join us on Wednesday evenings for a mindful, grounding and relaxing evening MEDITATION at Mind and Body Berkhamsted.

 

Facilitated by Kate – certified to deliver Mindfulness for Life Meditation starts at 8pm and it’s a blissful way to end a busy day. Kate will guide you through this gentle practice.

Meditating in a group can be powerful, but not only is a meditation group (or community) beneficial, it’s motivating and inspiring too!

Nourishing and transformative, mindfulness is essentially simple…being aware of and in touch with the present moment. Evidence now demonstrates meditation’s positive benefits – showing meditation helps to reduce stress, increases happiness and improves our ability to concentrate. It’s a stepping stone to a healthy lifestyle and helps us discover (and nurture) inner calm – which is so precious in today’s hectic and de stabilising world.

Because of our brains’ ‘neuroplasticity’ we can rewire our brains as we develop new neural pathways and strengthen these with practice.  So a commitment to meditate regularly (and in a group, together) helps to develop a habit that can bring positive benefits into our everyday lives.

These classes are suitable for those completely new to meditation as well as for those who already practice. The class combines sitting meditation with a deeper relaxation with the opportunity to lie down.
